When assembling equipment, it is often useful to be able to grip and turn a fastening element by hand. This requires a suitably shaped grip that works with a screw or nut to allow manual tightening and loosening.

Knob housings for screws and nuts are plastic components for assembling hand-operated fasteners. Together with a suitable screw or nut, they form a knob that is easier to grip when tightening or loosening. The shaped outer surface allows the user to hold and turn the fastener by hand.
This type of housing is useful when assembling equipment that requires manual fastening and occasional adjustment. The housing provides the grip, while the screw or nut provides the threaded connection. Both components and their compatibility must therefore be considered when designing the assembly.
The range includes housings for M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 screws, as well as a housing for an M12 nut. The different sizes allow the housing to be selected to suit the design of the assembly.
When choosing a housing, check its compatibility with the selected screw or nut, its external dimensions and the installation method. The appropriate thread size is the starting point, but the shape of the component fitted inside the housing must also be considered.
If the handle needs to be repositioned after tightening, or if there is limited space for a full turn, consider adjustable clamping levers with threaded studs or adjustable clamping levers with internal threads. These versions allow the handle position to be changed without altering the tightness of the joint.
